Consumers who see a mortgage professional displaying the Mortgage "M" can choose confidently, knowing that this member has meet the requirements of the National Association of Mortgage Professionals.

• Verification of a valid license via the NMLS.
• Abackground check via the NMLS.
• A minimum of two years of mortgage experience.
• Good standing with their licensing authority.
• SatisfiedNecessary Educational Requirements.
• Abides by and Promotes NAMP's Code of Ethics

Credentials are confirmed annually, membership is contingent upon all requirements remaining current and up to date.

Our M Advocate designation is available for the many individuals who take great pride in their mortgage career and profession but are not required by state or federal law to have a specific license or NMLS number. The mortgage industry is their industry as well and the M Advocate designation enables these professionals to have a voice in an association that values their worth.
